In the vein of drawing superheroes, I wanted to do one for my friend. His pick was Captain America who I never really got into as a growing up. Mostly it was his costume, it didn't seem to work for me so I never tried with any effort to draw him. And when I heard they were going to do a movie about him, I had my reservations. I have to say that I never really got it. I understood was that the character was needed during a certain time and need for a paragon of American ideals, and he was the one who exemplified it, boosted morale, a fictional leader, but I still didn't like the suit. Well I have to say that after I saw the 2 films I got it. Uncompromising, a leader, a tactition, an idealistist, his representation for all the solders who sacrifice to serve this country, why the suit is the way it is... So I drew him in my favorite uniform.
This weekend the subject of X-Men and Mechs came into a conversation. I met Dante whose favorite mutant was Juggernaut, and also likes the art of Mechs. I proposed what an interesting subject it would be to have Juggernaut in a Mech suit. During its design I tried to find a suit design that would enhance his mutant power which was being unstoppable once he starts running. I also fitted him with some gunnary which would common in a mech equipment. Well I hope I did them both justice. Thanks Dante.

My name is David Morgan, in case you couldn't read the heading, and for those who don't know me, which is -mostly- all of you, I am an artist/illustrator. The most recent job that I am working on is that I am prepping a children's book due to be published in the next month or two. My mother June, wrote the rhymes, now I'm doing the time,i.e. putting the finishing touches on the illustrations. It's being published by www.goodsoundpublishing.com which is a local publishing company based in my area. I am also currently working on a couple of logos for local businesses. I will have some images to preview so I can get some feedback...naughty or nice...I'm hoping mostly for nice, but that's entirely up to you. You can check the aforementioned website for when the book will be released.
I guess that's all for now, more on my fascinating life later...
